Mahnidra has been hard at work developing new products for the Indian market which have been undergoing rigorous testing evident from the numerous spy shots that keep popping up every now and then. The latest ones being that of the 2015 Mahindra Bolero slated for launch in the first half of next year. The spy shots have also managed to capture the interiors of the Bolero, codenamed U301, which look plusher than before. The 2015 Mahindra Boler0 will come in two versions; a standard normal length and a cheaper sub 4 meter version with a smaller engine with an estimated price betweeen Rs. 6-8 lakh.

Mahindra is working on widening the appeal of the Bolero which has always had the image of a utilitarian car and this is evident from the latest spy shots of the interior. The 2015 Mahindra Bolero will a 3 spoke steering wheel, revised centre console with a touch screen infotainment system along with other features which will be revealed subsequently. Though the new Bolero will retain its boxy shape the exteriors will be more car like with roof rails, alloy wheels and side step headlights.
As far as the engine options are concerned the 2015 Mahindra Bolero will feature the brand new 1.6 litre diesel mated to a 5 speed transmission while the sub-4 meter version is likely to get a 1.2 litre unit. Also on offer could be the new AMT Mahindra has been developing at the Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai.
