EA to make a ‘special announcement’ at The Game Awards

EA COO Peter Moore will be making an appearance at The Game Awards this Friday to make a “special announcement,” he confirmed on Twitter.

“I’m looking forward to joining @geoffkeighley on stage Friday night in Las Vegas @thegameawards to make a special announcement from @EA,” he wrote.

Since this tease, the Internet has been trying to work out exactly what this “special announcement” could be, but host Geoff Keighley doesn’t think they can figure it out. “Pretty sure no one will guess this one,” he said to Moore. “See you Friday.”

Keighley has previously stated that more than a dozen world premieres are scheduled to take place during the show. So far we know that Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima will be in attendance to offer a first look at the new Metal Gear Online and that new footage of The Order: 1886 and Bloodborne will be shown.

The Game Awards will take place this Friday, December 5, in Las Vegas.
