Look at wall mounted lighting to brighten up the space without taking up room on the floor or end table. It will have the same effects as table or floor lamps without using up any space.
A small bedroom space can actually be quite fun to decorate as long as you think the décor through and always keep the traffic flow and feeling of space in mind.
