CoD: Advanced Warfare launch trailer appears two weeks early, minimum PC specs revealed

Launch trailers usually make an appearance around the day that a game launches—makes sense—but Activision is bucking this trend by releasing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare‘s launch trailer two weeks early.


The trailer features everything you would expect: guns, soldiers, explosions, set pieces, and, of course, lots and lots of Kevin Spacey. There’s also a reminder about the Day Zero Edition of the game that is available to pre-order customers, offering 24 hours of early access with double XP.


As well as this launch trailer, the minimum PC specifications for the game were also posted on Steam. You can check them out below:


  • OS: OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit

  • Processor: Intel® CoreTM i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD PhenomTM II X4 810 @ 2.80 GHz or better

  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTS 450 @ 1GB / ATI® Radeon™ HD 5870 @ 1GB or better

  • DirectX: Version 11

  • Network: Broadband Internet connection

  • Sound Card: DirectX-compatible

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to hit PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on November 4.
