
Like a soccer shirt–wearing Krampus here to ruin your Yuletide hopes and dreams, Bethesda marketing honcho Pete Hines took to Twitter to assure fans that Fallout 4 will not finally be revealed this year during the 2014 Game Awards.

Ever since Bethesda unveiled The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim during the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, fans have eagerly hoped the long-awaited and inevitable Fallout 4 would receive the same treatment. Four years later, however, and no such luck.
Maybe next year, though, right?
