Netflix New Releases September 2015

Netflix New Releases September 2015, This September 2015, Netflix will be adding new content to its streaming service as it rotates other content out. So if you want to know what movies and shows are new to Netflix this September 2015, check out the list of new releases on Netflix below. Here’s a list of notable Netflix new releases, movies, and shows for September 2015:

August 28: Netflix original series, Narcos , has its debut. This 80’s crime thriller is inspired by events from the War on Drugs. While it’s hard to see what the Netflix show will cover that countless superior telenovelas have not, Narcos will include characters drawn from real life, like legendary drug baron Pablo Escobar and DEA agent Steve Murphy.

August 28: Season 4 of Revenge starts streaming. Inspired by the Count of Monte Cristo, season 1 was a must-watch, and then seasons 2 and 3 happened. Season 4 appears to make up for its sins somewhat with an ambiguous finale that left fans buzzing.

September 1: Irish kid’s show Puffin Rock comes overseas for American and Canadian kiddies to enjoy, following the adventures of animated puffins Oona and Baba.

September 1: Person of Interest seasons 1 to 3 hits Netflix, with season 4 due to hit the streaming network on September 22. Excellent news for a most bingeworthy series, starring Taraji P. Henson, Jim Caviezel, and Michael Emerson. (Thanks for the tip, reader Neil Miser!)

September 1: The One , with Jet Li, also starring Jason Statham. An oldie but goodie for Jet Li fans. Come back, Jet Li.

Other: Hamlet (1990), Hardball (2001), Heather McDonald: I Don’t Mean To Brag (2014), Lawrence of Arabia: Restored Version (1962), Masters of the Universe (1987),Mississippi Damned (2009), Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood: Volume 1, Mouk: Season 1, Our Man in Tehran (2013), Pandas: The Journey Home (2014), Person of Interest: Seasons 1-3 (Season 4 arriving on 9/22), Rambo: First Blood (1982), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Rambo III: Ultimate Edition (1988), Sleepy Hollow (1999), The Adventures of Sharkboy & Lavagirl (2005), The League: Season 6, The Monster Squad (1987), Up in the Air (2009)

September 2: Black or White (2014), Miss Julie (2014)

September 3: Drumline: A New Beat (2014)

September 4: Bad Night (2015), Madame Secretary: Season 1

September 5: Left Behind, starring Nicolas Cage. A terrible movie based off an even more egregiously bad book series, but then, what did you expect? (Correction: as eagle-eyed reader Mark Goyette pointed out, you can enjoy this film right now and needn’t wait even a moment to do so, praise be.)

September 9: Teen Beach Movie 2 (2015), Longmire: Season 4, Netflix original

September 10: Longmire , season 4, was rescued by its fans from an ignominious cancellation on its home network of A&E. The story of a rural lawman on the hunt for justice for his wife’s murder, Longmire’s passionate fanbase caused Netflix to take notice.

September 11: About Elly (2009), God Bless the Child (2015), Madame Bovary (2014)

September 12: It Happened Here (2015), Portlandia: Season 5, The Roughnecks (2014), Why Did I Get Married? (2007)

September 14: The Bank Job (2008), The Road Within (2015)

September 15: Moonrise Kingdom (2012), Reservation Road (2007), The Blacklist: Season 2

September 16: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part One . Hell yeah hell yeah all right all right. With the movie series coming to an end this November, it’s a fantastic time to watch.

September 17: The Mysteries of Laura: Season 1

September 18: Keith Richards: Under the Influence (2015), Netflix original

September 20: R.I.P.D. Rest In Peace Department stars Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds as undead cops. Looks like fun, honestly.

September 21: Gotham: Season 1, The Following: Season 3

September 22: Philomena (2013), SMOSH: The Movie (2015)

September 23: The Loft (2015)

September 24: Thor: The Dark World . Yes, we apparently had to get this comic book movie before a Wonder Woman stand-alone movie or so much as a Black Panther cameo, but it’s not as egregious of an insult as Ant-Man, so go ahead if that’s your thing.

September 25: Blue Bloods: Season 5, Hawaii Five-0: Season 5, Parenthood: Season 6

September 26: The Canyons (2013)

September 27: The Walking Dead: Season 5

September 29: Bones: Season 10, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013)

September 30: Agatha Christie’s Poirot: Series 12
