Magic 2015 ‘Garruk’s Revenge’ expansion launching November 5

Wizards of the Coast has announced that the Garruk’s Revenge expansion for Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers will be available from November 5.

The expansion costs $4.99 and adds a collection of fan-favorite cards from the Alara block, four new campaign levels, and an expanded explore level.

“Players will take on the role of Garruk, using his deck to battle their way through challenging foes,” Wizards explains. “With every victory Garruk’s deck improves, and players will unlock cards from Alara to later modify their own deck creations as they hunt their prey across the planes of the Multiverse.”

As well as this new DLC, the game will be getting some updates to improve playability. With the launch of the DLC, every card in the game will be available to earn in-game, whereas previously the best cards had to be unlocked via paid-for booster packs. Also, Battle Boosters, previously called premium Boosters, can be earned by winning multiplayer matches.

This update and the DLC will be available from November 5 on PC and Android, with Xbox 360, Xbox One, iPad, and Kindle to follow shortly after.
