Warner Bros. has announced that a new live-action digital series for Mortal Kombat will be coming out next year.
As a part of the studio’s new shortform content-focused production unit Blue Ribbon Content, the new series will be hitting early next year to conincide with the April 2015 release of Mortal Kombat X.
Much like that next chapter of the game series, this new live-action project will focus on a mix of classic Mortal Kombat characters and a whole new generation of fighters.
