Resident Evil Revelations 2 ESRB rating hints at third playable character

A rating on the ESRB’s website for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has suggested that a third playable character will be available in the game.

I’m going to throw a Spoiler Warning in here just to be on the safe side.

Capcom has currently confirmed that Claire Redfield and Moira Burton will be playable in the upcoming episodic survival horror title. However, the ESRB’s rating for the game suggest that Barry Burton, father of Moira will also be playable. Barry hasn’t been seen in the franchise for several years, but it appears that he will be returning at some point during the game.

“This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the roles of an imprisoned woman and a father searching for his daughter on an island,” the rating reads.

When contacted about the rating, Capcom told Eurogamer that it doesn’t comment on rumor or speculation.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be available in early 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
