Rockstar has released the Festive Surprise update for Grand Theft Auto Online that adds new gear, masks, weapons, and vehicles.
Ammu-Nation is stocking a new Homing Missile Launcher and Proximity Mines during the event that once acquired are yours forever. There’s also new holiday pajamas, ‘ugly’ Christmas sweaters, new scarves, hats, masks, and more that are all available for free until January 5.
In terms of vehicles, there’s a tricked out Hot Rod Christmas Ratloader, the sturdy Slam Van, and the Massacro and Jester sports cars with all new Race liveries.
As with last year, on a special few days during the festive period snow will fall in San Andreas. “Be on the lookout and ready to round up your Crew for a friendly snowball fight, but be forewarned, those icy little suckers can pack a wallop,” the developer writes.
Finally, on Christmas Day Rockstar will be handing out a few little gifts, so be sure to check your inventory.
