2K has announced that Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel‘s next batch of DLC, The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack: The Holodome Onslaught, will be available from December 16.
The DLC sees Athena recounting the events of The Pre-Sequel to Vault hunters Gaige and Axton. The action takes place in The Holodome Onslaught arena and tasks players with taking on waves of enemies that include Pre-Sequel foes and new enemies to earn new weapons, class mods, heads, and skins.
The DLC also includes The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack, which boosts the game’s level cap to 60, offering players 10 more skill points to use.
Finally, 2K also announced that a free update will be released next week that adds a third playthrough called Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. The enemies in this mode will scale to your level and campaign progress can be reset at any time.
The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack: The Holodome Onslaught will be available for $10, or as a free download for owners of the season pass.
