2016 Land Rover Defender is designed with an off-road capability and it is developed from the predecessor which is Land Rover Series. The car was started its carrier in 1948 and it is under the production for almost seven decades. It was presented for American market but in 1998, the regulations from governments related to the fitting all-passenger requirement through dual front airbags and side impact protection improvements made this car stopped for being produced. The company will not offer traditional off-road design but 2016 Land Rover Defender goes with modern touches and impressive style because the more rounded shape and the more aerodynamic lines are presented. For the front end, there is a big expectation that the car gets the same look as the DC100 Concept with new rear end. For the cabin, it will be completely redesigned with modern look along with modern features to make a more luxury style for 2016 Land Rover Defender.

When it comes to the engines, it is reported that the car should go with a new engine because there is no expectation to keep the current 2.2 liter diesel engine. For American market, this new car goes with petrol variants and it is still unknown for its exact units. In addition, 2016 Land Rover Defender is possible to go with some V6 unit 3.0 liter and 4-cylinder engine 2.0 liter that is used by Evoque. Unfortunately, there is no information available about the output that those engines are able to produce.

Hopefully, this new model could come sometime in the next year as the 2016 model and again, it is coming for American market. There is a possibility to see the entry-level model that under the all-new Evoque Pure. Even though it is a bit hard to estimate the price tag for this new generation, there is a strong suggestion the price tag will not too far from $42,000. It should be less than it for this new version of 2016 Land Rover Defender.
