Torvin, the hardheaded Dwarven Hunter, was perhaps the only character in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor who didn’t let the bleakness of his surroundings get him down. In the Lord of the Hunt DLC, available today, players will get a new slate of quests from Torvin, along with some gameplay enhancements that will add more variety to the game’s standout Nemesis system.
Lord of the Hunt also introduces Beastmaster Warchiefs, who can mount the beasts of Mordor just like Talion—a change that should lead to some intriguing new combat possibilities. Talion will be able to ride new creatures himself, though, with the introduction of the Caragath and Wretched Graug.
The expansion is automatically available to players who purchased the game’s season pass, and it’s also available as a standalone package for $9.99.
