Bungie hints at Sparrow racing for Destiny

Bungie has discussed the possibility of adding Sparrow racing to Destiny in the future, according to community manager Eric Osborne.

“It’s definitely an idea that has come up at the studio,” Osborne told GameSpot. “Part of the process of sustaining [Destiny] is figuring out what’s the most bang for the buck, what’s the right feedback to go after and address, how do we deliver the experiences that players want. And race is definitely one of the things that has come up as a topic, so we’ll see.

“It’s one of those shifty, no-promises answers,” he added. It’s not a confirmation by any stretch of the imagination, but at least we know that Bungie is at least considering it.

In other Destiny news, the game’s first expansion, The Dark Below, is now live on all platforms, bringing with it new armor and weapons, a new six-player raid, a new Strike (two for PlayStation), three PvP maps, and an increase in the maximum Light level to 32.
