Destiny’s new Crota’s End raid beaten in six hours

A team of Destiny players went into Crota’s End yesterday and emerged victorious after six hours of intense action.

The successful clan, known as Invigorate Gaming—the same can that got the world first completion of the Vault of Glass Hard Mode raid—has had their world first completion officially confirmed by Bungie. Destiny‘s raids support six players, but there are seven listed on the completion image below because a substitute was brought in part way through.

Crota’s End officially went live yesterday alongside the launch of The Dark Below DLC. The DLC also adds new story missions, a new Strike, three new PvP maps, new weapons and armor, and ups the maximum Light Level to 32.

Yesterday, there was a lot of rage within the Destiny community when it was discovered that players who didn’t purchase the DLC would not be able to take part in this week’s Heroic and Nightfall Strike due to it being the DLC Strike.
