Here’s your first look at The Odd Gentlemen’s modern revival of Sierra’s classic adventure game King’s Quest.
Following the honoring of Sierra founders Ken and Roberta Williams with the Industry Icon award, Jeff Keighley’s post-Spike TV Game Awards 2014 show debuted the first footage of the new King’s Quest.
The revival sees the now King Graham sharing his life stories, filled with tales of adventure and intrigue, to his granddaughter, Gwendolyn. Presumably, these stories also include the origin story of a certain iconic feathered cap.
The Odd Gentlemen’s past works include The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and, more recently, their collaboration with Neil Gaiman, Wayward Manor.
King’s Quest is set to launch across Windows PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 fall 2015.
Put on your feathered cap, it’s time for some King’s Quest debut footage
