The Game Awards will feature more than a dozen world premieres, according to host Geoff Keighley.
“This Friday night we will showcase more than a dozen world premieres,” Keighley teased on Twitter. In a recent Twitch stream, he clarified that these world premieres will not all be for new games and that fans shouldn’t expect them all to be ”world level, megaton breaking announcements.”
“I reviewed something today which is kind of a out of the left field announcement,” Keighley said of one game, “which I wasn’t sure of how big it was gonna be, but i saw the assets and I’m like ‘wow, people are gonna go crazy for this.’”
So far all we know for certain is that Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima will be debuting the new Metal Gear Online during the event.
The Game Awards is set to take place in Las Vegas this Friday, December 5.
