Watch Full ‘Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell’ Fan Film

In the world of stealth-centered video games, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell series is one of the best available to gamers. Since 2002 there have been seven Splinter Cell games, almost all of which have been met with praise from critics and gamers alike.

Due to its unique gameplay and storylines, Splinter Cell has influenced books, artwork and videos from fans. A few months ago we mentioned on Screen Rant that a Splinter Cell movie was in the works that will star Tom Hardy (Inception) as Sam Fisher, with Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) directing. Both Hardy and Liman have stayed pretty quiet about the project since it was announced, so fans are left to watch and wait for more information.

There are some fans, however, who have taken it upon themselves to create their own Splinter Cell movie in the meantime. Atomic Productions, who have made numerous original films, fan films and movie spoofs on their YouTube channel, have created a new, nine-minute Splinter Cell film.

The video features a young Sam Fisher as he’s briefed on a potential field operation. During the briefing, viewers are treated to flashbacks of a prior mission Fisher completed. Don’t let Fisher’s age fool you, he’s as lethal and precise as ever, showing off some impressive stealth and fighting skills. We get a glimpse at Fisher’s training and growth into the powerhouse special forces operative we all know and love.Splinter Cell fan film

A young Irving Lambert also makes a brief appearance in the video. Those familiar with the Splinter Cell series know Lambert as the Director of the Third Echelon, the top-secret branch of the NSA. It’s interesting to get a quick glance at an up-and-coming Lambert, especially when viewers consider his role in Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

This new Splinter Cell fan film joins other popular Splinter Cell videos, including one developed by Dark Pixel/Warialasky a year ago.

What do you think of this fan-made video? Does it capture the feeling and environment you’ve come to expect from the Splinter Cell series? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell games are developed by Ubisoft and Gameloft.
