Frontier Developments’ ScreamRide gets a March release date

Microsoft has announced that Frontier Developments’ roller coaster building sim ScreamRide will be available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One in March 2015.

ScreamRide features more than 50 playable levels across the globe, and gives players the chance to push the limits of physics and their own creativity as they try and scare or injure riders. The game features three gameplay modes: Engineer, ScreamRider and Demolition Expert. Players can also share their creation online and compete on global leaderboards.

After building their absurd, hellish creation, players then have the option of riding it themselves or sending the crash testers round. Once the riders are in place, players can remove parts of the track or up the ride’s speed to insane levels to send the coaster flying to its doom. Pretty much all objects in the game are destructible, so send your coaster crashing into a building and it will bring it tumbling down, earning you more points in the process.

ScreamRide will be available digitally from March 3 in North America and March 6 in Europe, priced at $39.99 on Xbox One and $29.99 on Xbox 360.
