The opening cinematic to Destiny’s first major expansion, The Dark Below, has leaked only thanks to a flukey error one that unlocked it unintentionally for a player.
The video, narrated by the DLC’s new NPC Eris, describes the threat of the Hive King Crota, whose name players might recognize from the Moon mission The Sword of Crota, in which they plunge the depths of the Hellmouth to retrieve and briefly wield the sword against Crota’s guards, the Swarm Princes.
The Dark Below drops December 9 across PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360, priced $19.99 (or included as part of the season pass, for those that ponied up for that).
